Kenwood KM800 Major Classic Serial No 004572. Have not used for about three years. Found small puddle of oil in the bowl. Tested the mixer with no load and seems OK.
Can it be used ?

Hi Tony, I see that you didn’t get any reply, so I’ll tell you what just happened here. The troubleshooting page shows a diagram to tighten a nut beside the paddle connection. I recommend doing this as it’s probably loose. I also think that the o-ring might have perished over time. This has happened to my machine and oil seeps out making it unusable as this would drip into food. I haven’t contacted Kenwood (in UK) though.
